Club members at R.T.V. in Santry
Some members of IFWDC competed in a Road Taxed Vehicle trial organised by Kildare Motor Club at Santry, Co. Dublin on Sunday 11th June. Some other members were involved in the organisation of the event.
Diarmaid Drennan brought along his very recently acquired Land Rover 90 to 'christen' it, and Damien Heneghan arrived in his 'battle ready' Land Rover 90, accompanied by his brother Jonathan.
Diarmaid wasn't
long getting his nice clean 90 dirty!

Or driving it over a rather deep ditch!!!

He gave it a little wash before he went home,
though.

The Heneghans however, opted to drive the course
laid out for the full spec. trials vehicles!!!
Here, Jonathan drives through a deep rut.

That's our revered Chairman, Merv, in the background by the
way :-)
The 90 wasn't spared over the humps, either.
Muddy holes held no fear for these boys!
Spectators (from left to right): our P.R.O., our Chairman,
and our Treasurer.
You can be assured that they were offering constructive advice at this time
:-)
Down the bank, and into the water-
There's nothing like a nice dip to refresh
the mind (and wet the feet!!!)
